Seven Bonde takes accessibility seriously. We believe everyone should be able to browse, specify, and order contract furniture with ease, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our platform
Our website is built on the Shopify platform, which includes many built-in accessibility features and is designed to support accessible development practices. In addition to using Shopify’s accessibility tools, we regularly review and update our site to address any new issues that may arise.
What we do
- Structure pages with clear headings and semantic landmarks so screen readers and keyboards work well.
- Write descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and use empty alt text for decorative images.
- Test color contrast and ensure information is not conveyed by color alone.
- Maintain keyboard focus indicators and logical tab order throughout the site.
- Review and update content, components, and code as standards and our site evolve.
Standards
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA requirements and follow accessible design practices across Seven Bonde.
