Ida Outdoor Armchair
An outdoor-rated dining chair with a woven synthetic-rattan shell on a slim wire-frame steel base in matte black powder coat. The shell is constructed as a single continuous bucket form — back, sides, and seat woven as one volume with no joinery between sections — and engineered from UV-stable PE strands that hold color and structure under sustained sun, rain, and salt-air exposure. The base is bent steel rod in X-geometry, contact-anchored to the shell at four points underneath the seat. The synthetic-rattan material is the right call for commercial outdoor service. Natural rattan loses tension and cracks in outdoor environments; PE rattan does not. The visual register stays in the rattan tradition — woven, hand-finished in appearance, natural in tone — while the underlying material is engineered for hospitality terraces, hotel pool decks, restaurant patios, and resort outdoor installations where weather exposure is constant.
